Amer Maqbool is a seasoned investment management professional with over 15 years of domestic and international experience in investments, sales and advisory fields. He has a unique privilege of working for mutual fund companies that were start ups, medium sized and global giants and therefore has a sense of devising the right strategies for each type. His strengths include managing distress assets, launching first-to-market products, debt restructuring, and investment consolidation. Prior to Blue Stone Capital, he was the CEO of Askari Asset Management Company. During his tenure, the company’s bottom line become positive backed by recurring earnings and effective portfolio management of proprietary accounts. After heading three asset management companies, he felt the need and demand for quality advice from a range of distressed companies with a potential to survive and flourish. Thus, Bluestone Capital was born.
Sheharyar Aslam
Head of Advisory
Sheharyar is a Fellow Member of ACCA (UK) and CFA (USA) Level II Candidate along with more than 4 years of experience within the Financial Advisory Industry. After gaining a rich experience of Financial Advisory from Deloitte Pakistan, he moved to Bluestone Capital to implement the best practices and knowledge learnt there. His strengths include conducting Financial Due Diligence, preparing Business Plans and constructing comprehensive Financial Models for the purpose of valuation of public as well as private companies. He also possess the experience of managing portfolio of equity and debt instruments.
